September 4, 2013 7:24 pm Bye dudes. As sad as this is... It was time. It's better to get out while the people are still clamoring for more than let it die a slow and ugly death. Jim, Jeff, Conor & Josh [and RON!]: Thank you for being awesome and keeping me engaged with comic books for YEARS. I started listening to the show in 2007-2008 somewhere and eventually become a commenter on the site. I wouldn't have kept reading if not for you guys, your awesome articles and the podcast.
July 30, 2013 2:19 pm Yes, I can be won over with Pokemon references.
June 11, 2013 10:45 am @Janja I agree. I didn't want to post here but I also didn't want you to think you're alone in having that opinion. Sad solidarity? :(
May 19, 2013 1:30 pm I dropped all my DC books awhile back and even though it sucks for DC fans and people losing jobs... I'm kinda stoked that this just expedites Image's rise to the number 2 spot. You made a good choice Ron. I'm rooting for y'all. I'm predicting now that the big 2 will one day be Image and Marvel. Lets do this.

March 26, 2013 12:47 pm As a fan of pre-Heroic Age Bendis and post Avengers Bendis, I'm excited. There was that couple years after Siege where he was just phoning it in (Heroic Age Avengers and New Avengers and Brilliant), but since then things have seemed a lot better. All New X-Men and Uncanny are both rad town so far. I like him when he puts effort into a project.

March 25, 2013 11:58 am I wasn't commenting on this weeks show at all, just stating in general. This was a good one!
March 25, 2013 11:37 am I appreciate the attention to lesser known books, but I mostly listen to the podcast for the conversational feel it brings. I don't have any friends who read comics, but when I got into them years and years ago all my friends did. We got into this thing together, but they all slowly dropped off. Now it's just me. Back then though, part of the joy was reading my books and then talking about them to my little group of comic reading friends. When they dropped off I found this site, which, in a way, replaced them for me, conversationally. Yea, when I talk you guys don't respond, but I get to hear the chatter about what I'm reading. I definitely have found books because of you guys, and I did the same when my friends would pick up things that I didn't, but the shows where you don't talk about anything I read are the most boring and off putting to me. Without that element I'd probably stop listening and might even stop reading. The Box ruled. It was this magical thing that my cable provider didn't carry, but all my friends had. When I went to their houses I'd watch Saturday Anime and The Box, ignoring whatever fun they had in mind. You guys have fun with your super soakers. I'm gonna chill right here and hope 'Josie' gets played again.
March 24, 2013 7:31 pm Glad you guys are getting the word out about how good Cap is right Now! Holy Romita Jr. I love the mix at Marvel right Now! You've got Bendis who is great at just letting characters react, talk and experience a status quo and on the opposite side you've got Remender who, if you just let him escape that stuff or twist it to his own evil machinations, will churn out awesomeness. It's a real good mix of creators really doing what they do best. Even look at FF and Hawkeye by Fraction and Thor and Wolverine and the X-Men by Aaron. They're really letting these guys play to their strengths and what makes them all great as individual creators. Hell, even Hickman is being very Hickman on the Avengers books, though I know your mileage may vary in that regard.
