December 19, 2017 3:17 pm Interested to know what you guys think after watching it again. I came out of my first showing feeling conflicted and sharing some of the same issues you guys did, but seeing it again I felt just about all of it worked better and I really liked it a lot more after seeing it a 2nd and 3rd time, to the point I think I love it now (and I've heard that from many others as well). Oh and great show guys, always good to hear you 3 together.
July 8, 2017 7:22 pm Yep, loved this movie. Holland is the best Spider-man and the movie itself is at least right there with the 2nd Raimi film.
June 2, 2017 9:04 pm So happy with how this movie turned out. Gal Gadot is simply the perfect Wonder Woman - really has to go down as one of the top superhero casting decisions ever.
December 21, 2016 7:52 pm I really enjoyed this movie, I liked how it was different from the saga films but still mostly felt like Star Wars, but also makes it hard to compare to the other films. One thing I found was that watching it a second and third time the first 2/3 of the film was easier to follow and I cared more about the characters, definitely a film I liked more on 2nd and 3rd viewings.
March 26, 2016 4:07 pm I had a similar reaction to it to what Conor thought: loved the Batman stuff but not so much the Superman stuff. Really Doonsday was the worst for me but otherwise I have to say I enjoyed this more than I thought I would.
February 8, 2015 4:47 pm You guys summed up my feelings on Star Wars #2 pretty well. The confrontation in this issue really does change the big Luke/Vader battle in Empire. Granted, nothing here is really contradictory and it all technically works, but I like the idea of their battle in TESB as being their first confrontation face to face. Otherwise I did enjoy this issue, especially the Vader stuff. I really do get the feeling that going forward this book will have the characters off on their own having adventures and we probably won't see much of Vader, especially since Vader will have his own book.
November 26, 2014 3:38 pm Great show guys. This movie did finally come to my area and I absolutely loved it. It was surprisingly funny and the acting was stellar....I'd like to see Keaton, Norton, and Stone all get Oscar noms for this. **SPOILER** They way I viewed this film is that he did not have powers. To go along with the flying/cab scene there is also the scene where he trashes his dressing room using his powers until Zack G's character walks in and suddenly he's using his hands to trash the room. Based off of this the way I took the ending is similar to what Ron posted above, except I think the hospital was real up until just about the time his daughter left the room....at this point I think he goes off into dream land again and is flying like he was before....the significance of his daughter looking up is that he now sees that his daughter looks up to him and is proud. Of course ending with that scene leaves it open for interpretation which is great and I've seen several different interpretations that I like.
October 31, 2014 10:48 am I want to see this movie so bad but I'm not sure when or if it will come to my area .
October 9, 2014 8:56 am I think this was my favorite pilot episode of any of the "superhero" shoes that I've seen. I pretty much liked eveything about it and don't think it had the normal problems pilot espisodes tend to have. Really looking forward to this series now.
September 23, 2014 2:26 pm For a pilot, I thought this was pretty good. I actually thought the cast was pretty solid, including Smith as Fish Mooney, though that may be more of a case of her being better than I expected because I had low expectations for her in that role. I think this show has a lot of potential going forward based on what I saw in this pilot.
