This review is terribly late because I’d saved this book to read, having enjoyed issue 1 so impossibly much. As…

November 27, 2011 4:46 pm Yeah, I'm going to use the TPB of this to evangelize comics to whomever I can.
November 26, 2011 7:03 pm I second this review, although I'm going 5/5.
November 21, 2011 3:58 pm That last one was so good they could've closed up shop afterwards.
November 20, 2011 7:35 am I CAN see how people hate it. (I'm one of those folks.) Not that I begrudge you your appreciation of it. It's emblematic of everything I hated about DC before the new 52. The stories are overcomplicated and overdark and extremely exploitative in their rapey/murdery-ness. (Raped, killed, burnt, and lying dead in the arms of an elastic guy? Yeah, nice comic.) Plus, Batman's mantra of "who benefits?" makes me think the World's Greatest Detective has never heard the term "motive" before. So, that one wouldn't be on my list, obviously, though I know lots of folks who love it.
November 17, 2011 10:47 pm "X-Vengers", @Blargo, it's coming... "X-Sanction"! (And Wolverine and Storm as Avengers)
November 17, 2011 10:43 pm Since it'll be growth, not contraction, perhaps "Relaunchapalooza", "Relaunchabaloo", or "Relaunchabration"?
November 16, 2011 3:34 am I appreciate that books are much finer works of art these days and should cost something - but r3v's comment here goes to the heart of the matter for me, There are a lot of 2.99 books that are as good or better than the 3.99 books, and I can get an extra book or two each week if I plan correctly. An extra book!
November 16, 2011 3:20 am Hawkeye hasn't had sunglasses since his weird armor costume. His eyes must appreciate the rest.
November 15, 2011 9:22 pm No, no, no, no - don't treat me like I've never read a comic. I'm saying they suddenly have a guy who can out invent Tony Stark and Reed Richards without batting an eyelash. That's too smart.
