I’ve chosen too many DC titles to continue on with for the foreseeable future or for an arc, so after buy Batwoman I forced myself to choose Demon Knights #2 OR Superboy #2. I’m not one for the swords and sorcery, and I dug Gen 13 back in the day, so Superboy made the cut, and I don’t regret it.
The interplay between Caitlin, Rose, and Superboy is fun (is this a team book?), Supes’ powers are turning out to be interesting, there are a couple of mysteries afoot, and the fight with the shark/walrus dudes was a blast.
With the exception of the lame villain, NOWHERE, and their wildly over-rendered and overly-futuristic outfits, and a couple of very confusing layouts/bits of visual storytelling, this is a fun, fun book.
