Glad this got some props on the podcast this week. I think all the ado about this being “smutty” was ridiculous. It’s a little dirty, sure, but this is a book about a woman who is kind of damaged, a free spirit, kind of self-destructive, but very headstrong and self-assured. And it’s nice to see Batman who is human enough to have a regrettable booty call he makes from time to time. Beyond the first page, the story is compelling, and I can’t think of another hero/villain/antihero quite like this one.

  1. Right on. Catwoman is my favorite character and I see nothing wrong with this portrayal. In fact I love it.

  2. Second. I skipped the first pages. I don’t approve.

The balance of the story was entertaining and very Catwoman.
