April 5, 2014 12:35 pm I don't get the feeling they are going down that route with Widow, think she probably was born in '84 in the movie universe. The KGB wasn't dissolved until 1991 and even then it still pretty much existed by many accounts, and as she mentioned in The Avengers she was recruited as a young child, so technically it could work.
April 5, 2014 2:32 am I can't wait to see this movie again, pretty much loved everything about it. Easily one of my favorite comic book films, might be my favorite Marvel film other than Avengers.
February 20, 2014 10:52 am Great show and pick this week, glad other people enjoyed "She Hulk" as much as I did. The relationship questions bit was a lot of fun, you should do that again next year!
January 8, 2014 3:21 pm Great show as always guys. I too was really surprised by how much I liked Frozen, one of the better Disney movies in a really long time. Along with Frozen; American Hustle and Pacific Rim were probably my favorite movies of the year. Really glad you talked about and like The Americans, it was probably my favorite new show last year along with The Blacklist.
November 9, 2013 12:34 pm I really liked this movie a lot, better than the first one. I really want to go see it again because people laughed and clapped so much during it that I missed quite a few things.....and also because it was really good. I thought the special effects were great and it was a good looking movie all the way around (saw it in 2D). I really liked that so much took place on Asgard and that they moved around quite a bit between worlds.
November 4, 2013 10:05 am I really enjoyed the "Arms of the Octopus" crossover/one shots, I had no expectations for it at all and really only picked up the first issue because Superior Spider-man was in it. All three issues were great, and it certainly deserved to have 2 out of the 3 issues get POTW. Anyone who hasn't read them should definetly pick them up. As for Battle of the Atom, I too was a bit disappointed by the finale and you guys really nailed why. I understand why Kitty left and they did set it up, but I really don't get why she would join up with Scott and his crew, unless it is going to be as a spy but I don't get the feeling that is where this is going.
October 28, 2013 9:10 am Yes, this is how I have always assumed it was supposed to look but I could never think of anyone who actually had hair like that.
September 26, 2013 10:24 am I thought the pilot was solid. It was a lot of fun, which is pretty much what I wanted out of this show. It's great to have Colson back and I was really happy to see Cobie Smulers as Maria Hill. It sounds like she will be popping up now and again and she hinted recently that she will have a larger role in season 2. I got really excited when Lola flew too, even though I had a feeling something like that was going to happen. Really the only problems I had with it was some of the acting was kind of bad. In particular, I thought the girl who played Sky was pretty bad at times. , but hopefully she can grow into the role better as the show goes on.
September 17, 2013 3:08 pm I was thinking the same thing, Marvel seems to have villains cross over a lot more than DC. I think to add on to what you have above, another reason it works better in Marvel is because just about everyone is in New York City, and not spread out across other cities like in the DC Universe. The Kingpin is a great example as he's pretty much split between Daredevil and Spider-man because he runs the crime in NYC.
September 16, 2013 4:41 pm Well played.
