Name: Chris Clark

I am an Economist/Bastard and that occasionally comes out in my posts. Apologies.

I know my username sucks, but I've been using it for roughly 12 years, so it's hard to change it. It is from the VAX email account I was assigned as an undergraduate student. It stands for STUdent CLArk CHristopher.

I think what you are doing to Josephine qualifies as child abuse. I'm calling protective services.  Wow!  Nice work.  Some of you went above and beyond.  Jambi is particularly impressive.  Mike Romo terrifies me.

The Best of the Week in... Covers (11/04/09)

On Nov 5, 2009 1:11 PM

I'm not generally a fan of Spider-man, but the cover to issue #610 is to my liking.

Sea Monkey Dreams: 30 Years of Advertising in Comics

On Nov 5, 2009 9:00 AM

I always like that the "dad" sea monkey's tail covered his genitalia.  Just one more mystery to unravel when your package arrives 6 to 8 weeks later.

On Nov 5, 2009 1:43 AM

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that this is the first time a Lobo books has been pick of the week.  Very interesting pick, Ron.  I look forward to hearing some Lobo/Sam Keith history on the podcast this weekend.

So...what do you like?

On Nov 4, 2009 9:00 AM

I suggest you just read Blackest Night proper and then go back to the tie ins as you see fit.  They are hit (Green Lantern) or miss (BN: Superman), in my opinion, and I don't think (assuming the main book is written properly) you will feel as if you are missing anything if you only read the main book.  Some will tie into the main book in important ways (Green Lantern, almost certainl...

NEW Podcast - DON'T MISS: Stumptown #1 with Greg Rucka

On Nov 2, 2009 10:29 AM

Sounds like an interesting idea.  Rucka interviews are always welcome.  @ron - The name of the podcast coupled with the phrase "quite the mouthful" gives it a disconcerting connotation.  Might want to avoid that.

11.01.2009 - Episode #208 - Detective Comics #858

On Nov 1, 2009 2:51 PM

I just went back to check out the white queen from NY comic con.  Not bad, but she has nothing on Jimski and his "lick" from SDCC this year.  I'd wager that Jimski is still getting emails from potential suitors.
