  1. This was so much fun, getting to watch the guys do their thang! (Podcasting.)

I loved all sixteen hours of it that you somehow condensed into 2.5 hours here.

The answers to the questions were fantastic, as were the random stats. I am still flabbergasted that 23% of iFanboy’s listeners are from foreign countries. Maybe we should be pronouncing the word as “rébar.”

    Viva Conor, Paul and Josh!

    • Thanks, Dave! It was fun.

      More demographic stats:

    • We’re not banned in China? Alright!

    • Conor, would you be willing to share the exact number of downloads from Germany? Or isn’t that something to be shared? (Which I’d respect, of course.) It’s just that I’d like to know the number of my brethren here. Curiosity.

Oh, and congratulations. It’s nice you guys keep going on. After the changes concerning this site’s content I was a bit “fearful”.

    • @Rhymer: Unfortunately, I cannot. We don’t share our numbers. I can tell you that the most popular region in Germany, by far, for downloads is Nordrhein-Westfalen.

    • Okay, I understand, of course. Thanks for the info.

  2. My first comment on the site. I have been listening for about 1 year and I am also catching up on the POTW from the beginning.

ANYWAYS, thanks so much for that guys, it was great and I love the live shows. Keep em coming!

  3. Is there a video feed of this?

  4. It would be great if there was a basic video show/hangout once a month.
Nothing to take away from the landmark epic sessions, but just a regular POTW podcast done via Google Hangouts.
I bet there would be a spike in numbers and I wouldn’t or shouldn’t require any extra work.

    What do you think?

  5. Was Murmur was supposed to be the complete rebranding?

  6. I started listening in 2009 and have gone back and listened to everything I could get my hands on. Will you guys ever re release the old podcasts?

  7. Just checking out the recorded live stream. Those were a couple of intense minutes from the start! “Where’s the video? Where’s the video..??” 😉

Anyway, thanks for doing what you’re doing. It’s always a joy to listen to the podcast!

  8. Thanks for the recommendations guys! We’re both a fan of live music, so we’ll definitely have to check out the venues that were mentioned. We’re really super excited for the trip! So far we’ve got beach camping, a trip to the Bradbury Building, and a short jaunt on the One on tap, in addition to the capper of our trip, quite possibly the most ridiculous thing we’ve ever attempted to do — Wasteland Weekend.

  9. great show! Josh thanks for the hardcore history heads up… listened to an episode last night while drawing and its awesome.

    450 more. please.

  10. In regard to Thor’s immortality and the Elves in LOTR. I don’t think they can age or die of natural causes or disease but they can be killed (stabbed, hit by a car, shot by arrows, etc.).

  11. “Is this the man who… wrecked the buffet at the Harrow club this morning?”

  12. Doesn’t everyone think that the Beatles are the greatest and most important rock band ever but aren’t they like Citizen Kane and isn’t it time to retire the Beatles as #1…like we already know that.

    MY top 5 bands:
    1. Hot Water Music
    2. Bad Religion
    3. Fugazi
    4. The Lawrence Arms
    5. Jawbreaker

  13. Thanks guys! I just went back and found the best of ifanboy podcast – thanks for mentioning it! So very funny. Ron laughed a lot. I miss that.

  14. Thanks for a fun edition, it’s weird how many of those Eighties films I’ve not seen. I’ve seen a couple of Star Wars films, if that helps.

  15. Perhaps one of my year end picks will be Alias, I like that spy book. Maybe Lazarus too, dunno yet.

    Fun show though.
