These are my reviews of each of the strips in Wednesday comics done in the most pretentious way possible: Haiku (I recently read Cryptonomicon).
Following the title is my score for the entire strip.
ADAM STRANGE: 4/5
Underutilized
Adam Strange now seems worthwhile.
Thank you, Mister Pope.
BATMAN 3/5
Wanted to like this.
It did not feel like Batman.
Nice Twist ending, though.
DEADMAN 4/5
Very strong early.
Slowed down considerably.
Unique Deadman tale.
GREEN LANTERN: 3/5
Very slow moving
story made me droopy eyed.
The end was fun, though.
HAWKMAN 4/5
Aquaman too cool.
Hawkman battles a T-Rex.
Please keep it going.
KAMANDI 5/5
This strip was magic.
I think Kirby would be proud.
Kamandi for Pres.
METAMORPHO 5/5
Not a Gaiman Fan.
This strip was more fun than sex.
Now a Gaiman Fan.
SGT. ROCK: 3/5
Too damn violent.
Rock’s battered face will haunt me.
Could not look away.
SUPERGIRL: 4/5
It started out fun
This strip made me feel younger.
Sadly got bogged down.
SUPERMAN: 2/5
Superman is sad.
Superman becomes Sentry.
I fell asleep, zzzzzzz.
THE DEMON AND CATWOMAN 3/5
I read it each week.
I remember liking it.
Story forgetten.
THE FLASH: 4/5
Split strips worked quite well.
Art overpowered story.
Primed for Johns issues.
THE METAL MEN 3/5
Adequate artwork.
Dan wrote a fun short story.
Ended too slowly.
THE TEEN TITANS: 1/5
Obscure character
Kicking Everyone’s asses.
I didn’t dig it.
WONDER WOMAN: 1/5
She needed a spark.
Caldwell tried something new here.
Sadly, too damn small.
WEDNESDAY COMICS: 4/5
DC took a risk.
The experiment worked.
A buck each, next time.
Please feel free to point out any syllabic mistakes.
Art: 5 - Excellent
Wow! That looks like shit. This is what it is supposed to look like:

The art was gorgeous.
The stories seemed adequate.
I’m a story guy.
I tuned out early.
Based on your review,
I may try again.
@akamuu – You can skip a few of the strips (in my opinion) and still get your money’s worth. Honestly, I would have paid $4 a week if it ONLY included Kamandi and Metamorpho.
and Supergirl
