February 22, 2011 12:29 am I gave the .1 issue a shot, as I haven't read Amazing for a long time. I was pretty surprised that Spider-Man (the guy whose name is on the cover) was in like one panel. 

I thought the Marvel .1 issues were meant to be "jumping on points" ... but I don't wanna jump onto a Venom book.

February 19, 2011 8:24 am Apart from the completely pointless/unnecessary cameo by Firestorm, this was another solid issue & a good end to the story.

February 19, 2011 7:52 am The story was deritative, dull, confusing, boring & it failed to make me care about what happened to any of the characters.

The dialogue was wooden, stilted & clunky.

The art was inconsistent; some panels were good, some were poor. The stoey-telling aspect of the art was terrible. It was hard to tell what the artist was trying to communicate was happening on a lot of pages.

2/5 offensive Asian stereotypes, from me.

But, on the bright side -- only one more issue of Daniel writing, then Batman gets a WRITER writing the book. Whodathunkit?
