Name: Ian Raney
Bio: I grew up on Long Island (aka Longuyland), learned in Michigan, and settled in San Diego. I've been collecting comics since Justice League Europe #41, which may have led to me collecting every Justice League comic from DeMatteis and Giffen's Justice League #1 to Justice League of America #113 (yeah the one with Fire, Blue Devil, Ice Maiden, Nuklon, Obsidian, and the Yazz). Currently I'm collecting more DC than Marvel but I don't take sides. I love me some good indie books (Y, Fear Agent, Scalped), but I'm usually late to the party and end up picking up the first trade. I'm not one for forums (I don't have time to keep checking back for response!), but glad that i can leave comments here at iFanboy.
Definitely another solid issue. It wasn’t as exciting as I was hoping though. I think this was ruined by the…

Guess not many people are reading this. Which is probably good...because its not that great. The first one was amazing and (re)introduced a bunch of characters. This is about Red Bee going crazy...which I didn't realize was the storyline. Wish it was back to the government conspiracy stuff.
But like a loyal comic collecting zombie I'll collect the last 3 issues.
I kind of wish that the covers had more to do with the story. Not neccesarrily directly, but it would be cool to have some tie into the story.
@Neb - definitely a meh for me too. Don't regret picking it up, but it has been as fun as the previous volume.
At first I thought their marketing campaign was a little much...but it seems to have worked.
I agree with both of you. Its a great book, but its time for things to come to a head.
Not really a fan of the cover though...i don't like the heads around the border.
I think this book delivers. Its supposed to be (at least originally in theory) a response to the ultimate line. So here is bad-ass batman. Its unfortunate that there are delays because it seems to cut off any steam the book gathers. I'm definitely on-board. It makes me laugh and its fun to just read a book and not have to worry about where it all fits in.
I can definitely see, however, how people would dislike it. I just hope that its because they don't like the characterization and not just because its not the bats them remember.
This is a great storyline. I really hope that Johns and Robinson deliver a great year of Superman. He deserves to be in good books.
Also, I can't believe the last son annual isn't out till May! It better be a damn good annual because it seems highly irrelevant now.
