September 7, 2011 3:03 pm There are a couple definite panels of the week candidates in this book. The art alone is worth picking this one up. It is wacky and crazy, and I LOVED IT! I do not have a huge background with Storm Watch, (or The Authority) but it has got me wanting more. The only, small complaint is that I am not crazy for the Midnighter redesign.
September 7, 2011 2:49 pm This should have been a 4 on Art, but seriously does not matter. LOVED IT!
September 7, 2011 9:24 am Sterling Gates run on Supergirl got me interested in a character I had never really read before. Gates got me so hyped about Supergirl I have gone back and picked up some of Waid's run on Supergirl and of course her return in the Loeb run. The character was just not the same after he left the book. I am looking for the same here. Gimme one of those books that is a solid read every month. And develop some characters that I previously had no connection with. This was one of my absolute MUST BUYS. Even with Liefeld on art. He does not sell me on a book, but his excitement about the book I hope is contagious.
August 19, 2011 1:58 pm That will teach me to read these things sitting on a beach. Opps. FAIR POINT!
August 19, 2011 1:25 pm Why is Madrox on this list? He is the "leader" of X-Factor. So, how is he not used enough? I know Madrox is no longer the focal point of the past couple X-Factor arcs, but he was the main piece for years. I always say it, but X-Factor is still the best X-book, month in and month out. And uses these types of characters to tell an awesome long story.
August 18, 2011 3:56 pm Will pick it up for the Stegman art.
August 15, 2011 11:43 am What is deathstroke wearing?!?! Please let that not be a new normal costume. The story is going to have to be a 10 to keep me reading with that design. It would be just too distracting. Ugh. On the other hand, Suicide Squad looks promising.
August 9, 2011 10:00 am Teasers be damned.  This is Marvel being Marvel, but on the flipside Hickman is still being Hickman.

Huh?

Well, Hickman had always planned to kill Johnny as a plot point in his story.  When Marvel knew, they hyped it up over the top, like they do, until people stop buying "Death of" books. (I actually do not mind because I am seeing comic books being talked about outside the normal comics world and welcome all new readers.) I could care less about any new teasers. Hickman is giving me one of my favorite runs in Fantastic Four/FF since I can remember. You did not have to sell me on picking up the book because I will never drop it, but to be this excited about picking it up on a monthly basis, I will not complain.  Get over the teaser and just read the damn book. It will be worth it.
August 4, 2011 12:12 am OMG. Sign me up for this movie immediately. Hey MARVEL, HERE IS MY MONEY! (and give some to ifanboy, they just did all your work for you)
August 2, 2011 12:35 pm Further reason why Flashpoint at DC is amazing. You can read the main book and enjoy it as a stand alone. You can pick up the minis and enjoy them alone or simply have them add more to the universe Flashpoint has created.

But I am with you Mike. I dropped everything with Fear Itself, minus Avengers Academy because I like that title too much and is still making a good book even with the editorial curveball it has been thrown.  And, I could try and add to what you said about Ultimate Spiderman, but it would only echo every same thought.
