I gave this book a 5, but perhaps it should have been a 4. Here's why...

The art is sloppy. It has kept the feel of the original series, but I still feel like something is off.

The story. Full of comic book cliches, but is that always a bad thing?  The mysterious character back from the dead and giving us the mystery to find out why. Also, the younger "evil" version of the good guy back for revenge! It screams, Batman: Under the Hood, but hey, I loved that story line. (I am sure there are plenty of other similar stories, but that was the first that came to mind)

Why did I give it a 5 then? I love Tranquility! These characters and their world have a charm to them not found in most books.  When they originally canceled the series I was devastated. It was one of my favorite reads each month.  Although there has been a long break between the series and this mini, I feel Simone has not lost a beat and we are right back into the world.

I gave the last issue a 4 out of 5 and I enjoyed this one more, so I naturally feel like I had to give it a 5 out of 5. I am excited to read the next issue and am already trying to guess what is going to happen. When I finished reading it, I remembered what reading comics was all about.
