July 3, 2013 1:13 pm Oh man oh man oh man, half that book could be in Best Panels of the Week. The guided view effects were great! Unless my other pulls REALLY bring it, this is my PotW.
July 1, 2013 1:29 pm Looks like a good week, but the only thing I was reading at that time was Ultimate Fantastic Four. It was the weakest book I was reading then, and I kept toying with dropping it, but it was still a good series. Somehow or another, I ended up with nearly an entire run.
June 27, 2013 12:07 am Wow, what was that? Four times out of 13 issues? Impressive. What a fantastic series this has been. Glad I overlooked my distaste and disdain for some of the other things Ennis has done in recent years and picked this up.
June 24, 2013 2:43 pm Don't name your kid Dick. Or Delores. Or anything else that could by chance remotely be associated with genitalia. Or Kal El.
June 6, 2013 3:25 pm Heh, I won't touch any of that crap you listed, but I'm totally going to get this.
June 4, 2013 11:54 am My eyes got as big as dinner plates when I saw Planetary. Man, did I ever love Planetary.
May 31, 2013 2:50 pm The Adventures of Superman that Samnee drew was loaded with amazing panels. I really need to read the others.
May 28, 2013 2:20 pm CAPTAIN AMERICA #7 FURY MAX #12 INDESTRUCTIBLE HULK #8 NEW AVENGERS #6 TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #22 THE WAKE #1 WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #30 X-MEN #1 Not too shabby. BQ: The wife and I had quite the weekend. We went down to Pensacola and did just about all we could squeeze into three days. Beaches, good food, visited Fort Pickens, watched some stingrays swim around, Monday though, was spent first emergency repairing a cracked radiator, then we went to the lighthouse and climbed to the top, then over to the Naval Aviation Museum, and just got utterly overwhelmed. It was amazing. I got a little choked up at the moon landing exhibit. Skylab and the Mercury capsule are there too. There's so much to see. We were there for hours, still missed things, and didn't even go to the new expansion. http://www.navalaviationmuseum.org/nnam/virtualtour/#MUSEUM/UPPER/U18_Space/U18_Space I hope that link works. Turning the corner and seeing that floored me.
