Severed #2 was sold out by the time I got to the shop, so I grabbed this, because of DNA.

It was “ok”. I gotta be honest, most of these DC books are duds for me. Very, very few have excited me. Ok, three have excited me.

While this didn’t wow me, I think I’ll give it a few more issues to give it the chance. It’s neat and offbeat enough to catch my interest in that way, even if I didn’t think it was “great”. It could be a slow burn. DNA really hooked me with Nova though, and I LOVED that book, so maybe that being my reference point is what the issue is.

The art was fine. It kind of jumped all over the place, but there was nothing inherently bad about it. I honestly think some of it may have been coloring problems though.

My reviews this week are boring because the books were boring. 🙁
