Holy shit, this book. I went in with pretty low expectations, to be honest.

This book was GREAT!

Man, remember comics from the 60’s and 70’s, that were sometimes light on story, but were a whole heaping serving of super fun crazy shit with weird cyborg people and aliens and secret societies and fun fun fun fun fun all the time? Those were awesome, weren’t they? Go pick up a Marvel Essentials Fantastic Four book, and not have a blast. I DARE YOU. You can’t do it. You know why? Because those books were imaginative, fun, light hearted, and brought the crazy big ideas because this is comics and fuck you they can do what they want, that’s why. This book was a love letter to those days, in the most sincere, and somewhat stalkerish of ways.

A SECRET SOCIETY CYBORG LADY HAS HER FACE PEEL BACK AND SHE SHOOTS LASERS OUT OF IT!

We have no idea why OMAC is out wrecking people’s shit yet, but he is, and it doesn’t matter that we don’t know why yet because fucks sake this is only $3.00 and you were just going to spend it at Taco Bell anyway so skip the gastrointestinal discomfort and buy this book instead. If you don’t, the Ghost of Comics Yet to Come will haunt you and show you how lousy your life will end up and no one will love you because you didn’t buy awesome comics.

Story: Who fucking cares, this shit rocks face and you should say fuck Taco Bell and buy this book. Shit was just going to give you food poisoning anyway.
Art: The frail human body cannot withstand this many g forces of ass kickery. If you buy this book, the art will go back in time and impregnate your mother and you will be born with this books DNA and be a better person.

Story: 5 - Excellent

  1. This was the best review ever. And it’s true! Except for the part about my eating taco bell. And my mom thinks comics are dumb. But yeah, it’s what makes me love comics. Thank you for this review. I’ll carry it in my heart always

  2. You made me laugh out loud. At least your review is honest haha! 😉

    Cheers!
