Wow, Kirby tribute all the way. Dido and Giffen spin a nice opener for this latest version of Omac. Just like in the new Justice League we’re given an opening into a new story with characters you know (well I know) and a story that as of right now is setting up the conflict for who OMAC is going to be. The fault in the writing is no character build-up before the story starts, so if coming into this you don’t give a shit about OMAC, you still won’t at the end of it.
The art is Giffens best Kirby, which is kind of a mix of Kirby and Byrne. I will definitely be picking up the next issue to see where this goes.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
