The original OMAC consisted of a simple character named Buddy Blank who was transformed into a Super Soldier (not unlike Captain America) by his beyond the world watcher – Brother Eye.

In this updated version a character by the name of Kevin Kho is transformed into a HULK like OMAC (with a child-like intelligence, and the ability to cause massive destruction). Once again this transformation is controlled by the orbiting Brother Eye.

Not wanting to spoil the story, I will just say I enjoyed this first installment.

This first issue is just the beginning of an introduction to the characters, so it’s hard to say what this comic will be like come issue 12.

If you liked the original OMAC, then there is a good chance you’ll like this one too.

But I could also see someone who likes the old Hulk stories enjoying this as well. Perhaps think of Brother Eye as Rick Jones, guiding our hero to do what is needed. (This might be a stretch, but this is the feeling I walked away with.)

I liked it, you might like it.

O.M.A.C. SMASH!!!
