Grant Morrison begins his retelling of Superman’s origin with a boom. The story is very intriguing, with a young Metropolis apparently not as pristine as its former self and its young hero not as iconic or even liked as his former self. Rags Morales does an excellent job on art, bringing a much younger Clark Kent into a very different, less “City of Tomorrow” Metropolis. I still don’t like that costume though.
