Dear Grant Morrison, please never stop writing Superman. Not that Superman really needed a breath of fresh air, but this is a breath of fresh air. Here we have a younger, brasher Superman who brings corrupt businessmen down a peg and has fun running from the police. Deep down this is still the same kindhearted fighter for truth, justice, and the American way, but he’s also a young country boy who’s moved into the big city and he’s clearly loving his newly found freedom. With plenty of familiar faces around and a new twist on the Clark Kent/Jimmy Olsen friendship, it looks like this is going to be a Superman run that won’t soon be forgotten.
