Name: John Coughlan

Bio: 25 years old, from Scotland. Relative late-comer to the Comicsphere. Although like most Brits I read lots of kids comics when younger, I only got into the larger world around 2005. Massive DC fan, especially: Batman, The Flash, Doom Patrol, Jonah Hex, Superman, Green Arrow, Power Girl, Secret Six, and much more. My Marvel love extends to Daredevil, Thor, Fantastic Four and Captain America, but am always open to more. I also love The Lone Ranger from Dynamite, The Walking Dead from Image, and Irredeemable from Boom. Ahem. I hate to toot my own horn, but I write comic book reviews and articles for entertainment and culture website Street Savvy -- thestreetsavvy.com

When Bruce Wayne “died” at the hands of Darkseid in 2009′s Final Crisis, rather than die with him, the Bat-franchise exploded…

Despite numerous brushes with the larger DC Universe, Secret Six has always felt like an indie book to me. Following…

May 27, 2012 4:33 pm I think it's just Ron that's involved with MorrisonCon, seperate from iFanboy. Also, if I know iFanboy and (most of) its users, then alternative viewpoints are welcomed. Intelligent elaboration is usually appreciated though, rather than just "this is stupid."
May 22, 2012 3:09 pm Not a big video game guy, but yeah, looks good.
May 22, 2012 12:16 pm As someone from the UK, I rarely get to say this, so please indulge me: I was there when Dan DiDio made that announcement. But yes, great news all round. Maybe that horrible parents group (Somewhat Less Than) One Million Moms will make another pathetic protest.
May 22, 2012 9:40 am Sorry, forgot I was on the internet. EVERYONE DIFFERENT FROM ME IS WRONG!
May 21, 2012 4:24 pm And to offer a counterpoint here, I like the Daredevil movie too, but it's not that great. If it's not for you, I'm not gonna tell you you're wrong.
May 21, 2012 2:59 pm I love how Ron went full nerd during the Phoenix/Flash discussion.
May 16, 2012 3:28 pm Lex Luthor, for me, has always represented that little part of me that is secretly jealous whenever there's somebody exactly like me, but a tiny bit better.
May 16, 2012 1:29 pm Also, I bet in the Watchmen universe, there's cheap knock-offs of their action figures, like the Go-Bots or Action Rangers. They'd be called something like "The Clockmen." Dr. Scientist, Evening Bird, Maskface, Soft Ghost, Funnyman and Rameses.
May 16, 2012 1:26 pm There's a bit in The Flash: Ignition where an amnesiac Wally sits down with Captain Cold in a diner and they just chat. Eventually, they get to talking about good and evil, and there's a contrast in opinions between the two men. It perfectly encapsulates the reason that they are arch-enemies without fisticuffs.
May 16, 2012 12:59 pm Don't forget the Archie Owlship Playset(tm)! Now with "a-rockin'" action. Warning: May discharge fire prematurely.
