Name: John Coughlan

Bio: 25 years old, from Scotland. Relative late-comer to the Comicsphere. Although like most Brits I read lots of kids comics when younger, I only got into the larger world around 2005. Massive DC fan, especially: Batman, The Flash, Doom Patrol, Jonah Hex, Superman, Green Arrow, Power Girl, Secret Six, and much more. My Marvel love extends to Daredevil, Thor, Fantastic Four and Captain America, but am always open to more. I also love The Lone Ranger from Dynamite, The Walking Dead from Image, and Irredeemable from Boom. Ahem. I hate to toot my own horn, but I write comic book reviews and articles for entertainment and culture website Street Savvy -- thestreetsavvy.com

April 8, 2013 2:28 pm The most recent Jonah Hex and Power Girl series both went on for just one or two issues too long. Not that I wanted either to end, but both had perfect finale issues, then continued, then stopped on fairly average stories.
March 22, 2013 2:50 pm I usually never comment on rumours either, but this would be most excellent. Also, he'd have been perfect for the role if they had went with a white Nick Fury.
March 22, 2013 2:49 pm They already have William Sadler appearing as the Pres in Iron Man 3, I think, but yeah, that would have been awesome.

March 20, 2013 11:50 am Looks damn good. What's that music from? Sounds familiar.
March 18, 2013 12:56 pm Oh I agree on that.
March 18, 2013 9:26 am Regarding the discussion near the end about Green Arrow's characterisation and Black Widow's new catchphrase, influences from other media are not always a bad thing. Kryptonite and the Batcave both originated from sources other than comics, yet we can't imagine the Superman or Batman mythos without them.
