June 28, 2011 1:04 am Almost all the dialog in this book was wrong wrong wrong ..and bad. The art thou was excellent especially the scenes you described.  Matt Fraption is kind of on a down swing with his books.

I think you expressed the ridculousness of this issue pretty well.
The story isn't bad but it's like Fraction has a grand plan and very interesting story but it's not being executed on the page very well.

May 28, 2011 10:28 pm I loved this issue including the backup stories. These two issues have gotten me to start reading Avengers Academy as well. Good so far.

May 12, 2011 3:49 am I do not like Kolins art on this book. Why is Manapul so busy now? At least we got some of his art but only the talking heads parts.
Barry and Bart losing Zoom was not the worst part but I do agreed about the fighting. But that just goes back to Kolins' art. This series kind of turned bad in a hurry which keeps happening with The Flash series. Surprising with Johns writing it happened but Johns is basically full time events now a days. Getting the same quality writing as the old JSA or the first run of The Flash might be long gone. I fear we might not get that on a ongoing from him again.

May 11, 2011 3:47 pm Hawthorne really put in work on this issue. I haven't read a lot of Conan but I like this style. A little goofy but I always viewed Conan as goofy after Arnold.

February 21, 2011 1:57 pm Marvel has some of the most popular comic characters around but the stories comng out of Marvel have been pretty much the same. DC has been all across the board with their stories and that keeps people interested. Marvels big talent mght need to be recycled, Bendis, Brubaker, Fraction, etc need to get some buzz worth stuff written. DC kind of lucked out with Geoff Johns and his immense talent of originality.

February 5, 2011 4:48 am I enjoy DC events more because they seem to mix up the cast of characters especially the main focus. Marvel is Iron Man, Cap, Thor let's go around one more time, yay!
