I love that The X-Men have a special contingency plan for specifically
dealing with Wolverine, since out of all the characters, he seems to be a
magnet for evil possession. Along with alot of small elements
highlighted in Jason Aaron’s stories featuring him, it’s just so
incredibly fitting. In Wolverine #6, we see Wolverine coming face
to face with the X-Men after his little trip to Hell and after his
demon possessed body went on a killing spree. They don’t quite Wolverine
after these episodes, and thank god they don’t. Wolverine may have
escaped Hell, but he still has to fight that pesky demon for control of
his body. Besides the revelation of the Wolverine contingency plan, the
story in this issue didn’t feature anything as exciting as the previous
ones, but nonetheless was a satisfying stop in Aaron’s Wolverine saga.
Daniel Acuna also began his run as series artist with this issue. While
the art here wasn’t nearly as vivid as his work on X-Men Legacy, the scenes featuring the demon were especially horrifying. Not the best issue in the series, but a solid one regardless.

  1. I like how Acuna draws Wolverine especially the first page but the rest of the X-men in this seemed to lack enough detail for my taste.

  2. They mentioned he killed people in this issue.  I read this right before I read X-Force.  I guess he is possessed but man does Wolvie have blood on his hands.

You would think between the two sotries he’d either be dejected or calous.

The above spelling may not be accurate….
