November 1, 2008 2:01 pm I was "The School Spirit". I kinda made it a variation of The Spirit, with the trademark Domino Mask. Beyond that, it was just black clothes and a sign. Some people got The Spirit reference, others just thought I was mocking the lack of spirit around campus. So it worked anyways.

Speedball's cat Niels is now P-Cat, the Penitent Puss.

Foolkiller (I know its a MAX series) had his attack dog Jester.

Maybe the Plunderer had a parrot? lol

I've been a superhero for the past few years and made everything. First it was The Punisher, which was the easiest because I had the t-shirt and trenchcoat already. Last year I was Wolverine. Made the claws out of gloves, cardboard, and duct tape. Wore a flannel shirt (like the movies) and grew out the sideburns for that authentic touch.

While I'm going as John McCain this year, I'm already making both a Deadpool costume (and I'm not very good at sewing) and a Green Arrow costume, which isn't too complicated, but I'm running out of time. I figure that I should put some work into it because it's my favorite holiday of the year.

September 26, 2008 3:47 pm This issue really wrapped up the whole storyline well. The Skull survives (like he wouldn't?), Bucky hooks up with Black Widow, and we're left with a good foundation to build off of for future stories.
September 26, 2008 3:44 pm Never got issue 1 in the shop, but was easily able to pick up the story here. Honestly, I think they should keep the Pool Skrulls, because they have to be the funniest uses of the Skrulls so far.
September 26, 2008 3:42 pm Mutant Zero is either Jean, Mad Pryor, or, (anybody consider this one?) Scarlet Witch. Reality altering powers, mutant, crazy, and has other "unknown" powers exhibited previously. Maybe she was found after the events of New Avengers and recruited. The red hair may be just to throw us off. Maybe.
September 23, 2008 10:06 pm This is one of my favorite books out there right now. I just love the characters and the story, and seriously, reading about scumbag heroes is jam-packed with ironic hilariousness you can't find anywhere else.
September 23, 2008 10:04 pm This is one of those books that you think is OK in the first issue and wait to see if it gets better. By the time you've seen how bad it is, it's already on the 4th of 5, so you HAVE to get it, if not for the art then for the purpose of at least finishing the story. Here's hoping Ultimatum bumps this title off the map forever if this creative team wants to continue.
September 23, 2008 10:01 pm This has been interesting and a good side book to read thats unconnected with most of the Marvel universe, as its nonsensical, unbelievable, and is classic Loeb exageration.
September 23, 2008 9:59 pm There are alot of possibilities that can be explored within this book, which makes it great. The introduction of new characters is easy and encouraged in a book like this, and the concept of a superhero boot camp is a good starting point for a whole bunch of ideas.
