If it's not these three who save Kitty, then it's a comically missed opportunity.

I can just see the X-men gearing up for a big mission to save Kitty. Colossus, Nightcrawler, Rogue and Cypher all have just taken off in a spaceship. Some of the younger X-men are wiping away tears of faint hope. Just then, Havok, Polaris and Marvel Girl touchdown. "Hey guys!" Havok calls out as he waves a friendly greeting. Someone shouts out: "Who's that?" Cannonball says "Oh my gosh, y'all, we totally forgot about you guys. Too." Flashback to a week previous, as unseen by the three X-men aboard, Kitty's giant space bullet rockets past one of the Starjammers' windows as Havok is catching up on Mad Men DVDs. As Kitty is slowly dying, Havok chortles and says to himself, "oh that Don Draper."

Doesn't the JLA have Congorilla on their team now? Should I feel bad for not supporting one-apesmanship? 

I will say a little prayer before bed tonight that whatever secondary mutation Beast has undergone washes away the next time he takes a bath and we speak of it no more, like the great incident that changed the klingons. 

January 20, 2010 3:54 pm Man, what the hell is going on? I know Marvel's trying to build hype for the Deadpool movie and all, but you can't just force that. I'm a huge Deadpool fan. I lovvved the Joe Kelly stuff. The current ongoing is okay, not great. I enjoyed the team-up stuff so far, I thought it was surprisingly good. Merc with a Mouth is not good. The art is cheesecake and the writing is unfunny, no matter how hard it tries, and it is filled with characters no one cares about in recycled situations. Who asked for another ongoing Deadpool series, really? I'm a huge Deadpool fan and I'm dropping Merc With a Mouth and won't be buying the Corps stuff. Just focus on making one series really, really good, then wait for audience demand to cry for another series! FAIL.

I too am going to have to say Secret Six.  You guys did volunteer Josh and we've heard nothing on his experience with it.  I want to confront you guys with your unreasonable seething hatred of Gail Simone ;-)

I've never read anything Gail Simone's done other than Secret Six and it is fantastic.  Easily in the top 3 or 4 books from DC I look forward to each month.
