The man who loves nostalgia wants me to pick this up. Since it has Liefeld drawing Deadpool again and he will be the center of the….Deadpool Corps ongoing.
But the sensible man in me is avoiding this at all costs. This was not a good series in the first place, and this leading up to ANOTHER Deadpool ongoing is something I can’t support. Even if I am a fan..
Gahh….I need to be sensible for once in my life.

I know you’re pain. I like Deadpool, and this looks funny as hell. I want to read it, but money is tight, I didn’t like Merc with a Mouth when it started, and I don’t need another Deadpool book, I’m gonna save my money and by Sweet Tooth, or wait for the new Flash series, because I think I’ll enjoy them. I’ve reached the point that my love Deadpool is turning to hate, cause he’s over exposed.
But if you wanna read it, go for it, let me know if it’s any good?
So this book has been pretty bad lately, and luckily I have other outlets to read Deadpool. However, Im a bit curious to see where Marvel is heading with this, as theyve been hyping this up quite a bit. So yeah, Im gonna give this issue a shot.
Man, what the hell is going on? I know Marvel’s trying to build hype for the Deadpool movie and all, but you can’t just force that. I’m a huge Deadpool fan. I lovvved the Joe Kelly stuff. The current ongoing is okay, not great. I enjoyed the team-up stuff so far, I thought it was surprisingly good. Merc with a Mouth is not good. The art is cheesecake and the writing is unfunny, no matter how hard it tries, and it is filled with characters no one cares about in recycled situations. Who asked for another ongoing Deadpool series, really? I’m a huge Deadpool fan and I’m dropping Merc With a Mouth and won’t be buying the Corps stuff. Just focus on making one series really, really good, then wait for audience demand to cry for another series! FAIL.
I like how the "2nd Printing Variant" (the iFanboy picture) was released concurrently with the 1st printing.
I must admit that I did flip threw this at the store. As much as I like to see Liefeld drawing Deadpool……I can’t recommend this to anyone.
I liked it overall, but the one artist who did the Major Deapool section was really bad. I mean really bad!
This was awful. Whoever’s responsible for the rotoscope trace art and whoever approved it should be shot.
This was fecking dreadful.
Whoever though using poser in a comic would be a good idea should be hung. I’ve never been so glad to see Rob Liefelds art and that’s saying something.
