Now that comics done right! Thank the comic book gods for giving us Scott Synder, when it comes to the Batman world he just gets “it.” From the opening pages you are immediately immersed in Gotham City and and the characters in it. I love when writers dont dwell to much on brooding Batman and focus more on him just being a superhero. Scott does this so well, dot get me wrong, its still a very dark book, and without spoiling anything the last few pages are very disturbing. But the book still feels fun. As for Greg Capullo’s art, its beautiful and is absolutely perfect for a Batman title. I love his rendition of Batman, simple but menacing at the same time. I absolutely recommend this book to any fan of not only Batman, but of comics in general. POTW!
