Oh my Batman. This was hands down, the best book of the entire new DC books. I don’t care what your opinion is of DC, or the relaunch; if you like Batman read this issue. If you don’t love it, I will give you 2.99 (no I won’t). This was the perfect first issue. Scott Snyder introduced Batman and Bruce Wayne as well as all the supporting cast perfectly, there was action, there was mystery along with awesome Batman detective work, and to top it all off the art was absolutely fantastic. Greg Capullo did an absolutely amazing job, his Batman is great and his facial expressions are spot on. The style and layouts are awesome. Adjectives!
