I had no idea what to expect from this. Thanks to the new 52 I am a returning comic fan from the mid-90s … I haven’t picked up a book since, and the art in this is what pulled me in, the story is what kept me there. I love the family based storyline of this … the ‘superhero’ aspects are more or less a side item, which I really like. The art, in the beginning of the story is very minimal which works for the family sequences, but MY LORD, when they get to the meat of the story in the ‘dream sequence’ … Breathtaking artwork. I’ve never ‘subscribed’ to any comics, and this is one of the first must reads I’ve added. I’m glad to be back to reading again, and I cannot wait for this story to unfold!
