Like the rest of the world I’m suffering from vampire fatigue. Nonetheless, I decided to pick American Vampire up anyway. …

April 6, 2012 2:59 am The sweet panel from AvX kinda makes me sad I didn't bite. But if the series continues getting the love, I'll read the trade. Swamp Thing and Animal Man are still kicking all kinds of ass, loving the dark side of the Nu52. I guess none of the iFanboys read it, but The Boys 65 had quite a few drop your jaw to the floor panels and totally deserved to be featured here.
March 6, 2012 1:40 am The last issue was amazing, maybe the best issue of the series yet. Wednesday can't come soon enough, can't wait to see what craziness happens in this one.
February 14, 2012 4:09 am In previews it said this story is based on the Spielbergo debut Duel, actually the novel it's based on. After Locke and Key, I'm all in on Joe Hill. Plus, his dad is writing with him for the first time. I'm excited to read this.
December 26, 2011 2:49 pm I think Justice League deserves a spot, it's big dumb fun and each issue has made me literally laugh out loud. Damn, I don't read a single book on this list. I guess I hate fun.
December 26, 2011 2:35 pm I got some sweet trades (Milk and Cheese, Habibi and Echoes) and a cool art book (Halo: the building of worlds). I also got Spiderman cookie cutters, a batarang money clip and the absolute coolest shoes I've ever owned, the Adidas Kermit the Frog superstar 2's. I don't know if this counts too, but my dad hooked me up with a gummy fetus from the Flaming Lips. Pretty great haul for sure.
November 16, 2011 4:38 pm Dibs! Loving this book, each issue has been better than the last. Jim Lee is really doing his best work in years, if not his best work ever.
October 4, 2011 2:46 am Getting close to the end now, and after the cliffhanger last issue it looks like shit is about to get real. This book has crazy alternating highs and lows, but this current arc has been pretty strong so far. Too bad this book has faded from the spotlight, it's a great story that has gone to some surprising places.
August 30, 2011 6:33 am DC might be rolling out their nu52, and I'm pumped for JL this week. That said, this is the book that will get me to the store on a light week. There isn't a more mind blowing title on the shelves. Gabriel Rodriguez is criminally underrated, and Joe Hill is telling amazing stories his old man should be jealous of.
July 19, 2011 12:49 am Oh, the pains of having to wait six whole issues of awesome, question answering flashbacks before we even get to see what's going to happen to the Locke kids.  This series was a creeper for me but it's totally comic magic.
July 19, 2011 12:39 am Can't wait to see Darick Robertson return to drawing the Boys, even if it's only a mini.  I trade-waited Herogasm and Highland Laddie, but gotta throw down for the Butcher in issues.
