   This title desperately needs a new artist. I don’t usually drop titles due to art but I just can’t get excited by this title anymore. What happened!!??

     Ponticelli did one of my favorite panels from this run. Would love to see him come back. Lemire’s story telling, I feel, is being slightly obstructed by the current art.

     I’m with you Xtianhardy, this and swampy are just not doing it for me anymore. It’s crazy how much Travel Forman really made this a top tier book. Now the art is crap and the story is dragging.

   I think I wanted an Animal Man that was more like Grant Morrison’s run and less like all the Vertigo stuff that came after.

   I was (mostly) with you guys on the feeling that this, and to an extent Swamp Thing, had run out of steam. This week really picked it up for me with both books. It took a long time to get here but I greatly enjoyed this issue and am genuinely looking forward to the finale. Grant Morrison’s run this is not, but it has moments of greatness and I’m looking forward to see where Lemire goes from here.
