December 5, 2012 – Avengers #1
December 5, 2012 6:44 pm Actually j206, I read every issue of F4 Hickman and there was a lot of humor in there. I guess it's just the aftereffects of the movie, which had some fun stuff in there with all the end of the world seriousness. I'm not a hater, I guess it was just a little different from what I thought it would be.

December 5, 2012 – Avengers #1
December 5, 2012 5:48 pm This was a good debut issue, but where was the fun? With FF and Manhattan Projects, Hickman has made me laugh many times. This issue felt much more serious and I hope it lightens up a bit. That said, I was hesitant to pick this up in the first place and will pick the next one up for sure. Not sure if I have seen Opena's art before but it sure is pretty.

THE MANHATTAN PROJECTS #7
November 7, 2012 4:50 pm Hah this is one ridiculous comic. Orgy panel is classic. Best book going, until Locke and Key comes back.

FF #22
September 26, 2012 5:25 pm I'm going to be sad when this is all over next month. Hickman has had quite the entertaining run on F4 and FF and these last few months of one and dones have been solid.

WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #17
September 26, 2012 5:08 pm I haven't laughed that hard reading a comic in a long time. Maybe the funniest comic I've ever read and my all time fav is Preacher, which is no slouch in the comedy department. Mr Aaron and Mr/Mrs Allred, take a bow that was epic.

BEFORE WATCHMEN: COMEDIAN #2
July 25, 2012 6:40 pm This was the first issue of a BW title that I thought was weak. The art just doesn't pop like it does for every other BW series. I usually love me some Azzarello but I felt like this was clunky and hard to follow. I'm all in with BW but Comedian is at the bottom and by a long way.

HIT-GIRL #2
July 25, 2012 6:36 pm This was the best issue of "Kick-Ass" since the first series. Hit-Girl was always more interesting and it feels like with this mini Millar and Romita have gotten their mojo back after the underwhelming Kick-Ass 2.

THE MANHATTAN PROJECTS #5
July 25, 2012 6:31 pm I've been loving Hickmans FF stories, but this series brings the crazy. Oppenheimer is nutty as hell, and pretty scary too. Between this, Fatale and Saga, Image is on fire right now.

THE UNWRITTEN #39
July 20, 2012 2:06 am Well I was trying to dance around it but Cabin in the Woods. Great movie by the way, solid blend of comedy and horror.

THE UNWRITTEN #39
July 19, 2012 2:09 am This was another great issue. Wonder if Mike Carey has seen a certain recent movie which had a similar supernatural money shot? It still was a quite enjoyable page, but it's got to make him a little mad he was beaten to the punch.
