No one could accuse Art Baltazar and Franco of being too thin on dialogue. The only other New 52 comic…

Very little happens in this comic. I don’t mean that in a bad way though, because what does happen has…

July 28, 2013 2:50 pm I apologise, I thought the review hadn't submitted, so I clicked it again, hence my apparent 3 reviews. Sorry.
December 18, 2012 9:08 pm You joke, but my LCS hasn't had any of Saga for the shelves yet, every month it's "sold out to pre-orders" by pull list people. They need to order way more. I don't like pre-ordering comics 2 months in advance, before anyone suggests that I should do that.
December 13, 2012 11:55 am Haha great review.
December 5, 2012 8:02 am This is exactly what I was thinking. I don't pick up any $3.99 books, just because it's not worth it, when they are cheaper in trades. $2.99 I can justify, but enough people buy the $3.99 books, otherwise Marvel wouldn't keep pricing them that high.
November 8, 2012 5:36 am Hey, thanks for your reply Ales! I'm sorry that I sounded a dick above, it shouldn't be for me to judge a comic writer that actually tries to make their work intelligent and make the reader think. I'll pick Change up, the stuff I mentioned I was just worried was just over the top prose for it's own sake, but in context (which you put it in, eg Sonia's script) I'm sure it'll all make sense. Thanks for your nice reply about everything I raised!
November 7, 2012 5:44 pm I like to think I'm not unintelligent. However, Ales Kot's writing is a bit too much for me. I liked Wild Children, but the pretention got in the way a bit. I don't want generic, 80% of my comics I get are from Image, but I find it hard to get in to his writing, as I'm constantly confused/trying to work out what lines like "This is a tale of beings that exist on circular time-space", "eyes like stuxnet worms, self replicating in his soul" and "she gave birth to a stillborn, the problem was, she was never pregnant" even mean. I desperately want to like his ideas more, as they are really interesting, and this interview was great, I just wish he wrote more like a normal human being and not like an academic book ( “The existence of a lie is a lie. It’s a meme we’ve fed ourselves because it helped us grow.") I do like his stuff though!
November 3, 2012 9:24 pm Frazer Irving did the covers, not colours. Jean-Paul Csuka did the colouring.
August 9, 2012 4:05 pm Val Staples is a colorist, and they colored Battle Pope, also by Moore.
July 23, 2012 6:34 pm Thanks for the reply Kurtis! I know what you mean about singles for an ongoing series, I just switched from trades to singles on Morning Glories, and I promise I will support your work in future, as everything I've read of yours so far has been very good! My apologies that the semi-rant happened to be spouted on the Debris page here, it's nothing against your work, or this comic, which looks and sounds excellent.
July 23, 2012 3:46 pm This is the problem I have, I always want to buy individual issues, but waiting for the trade is cheaper, and has bonus material (character designs, early pencilled pages, script pages etc), and it's made me think "why bother picking issues up when I can wait six months, see reviews for all of the issues, and then make a fully informed decision". This isn't anything against Kurtis/Riley/Image, in fact I bought Grim Leaper, I just don't feel that I want to read 1 chapter when I could read the whole book relatively soon.
