September 21, 2011 – Wonder Woman #1
September 21, 2011 5:21 pm I really liked Batman, but didnt think it quite had the same spark as Wonder Woman did. When I put down Batman, I thought thats "hmm, really enjoyed that" but when I felt a vibe of excitement run through me. Batman was a good, solid read, Wonder Woman was a exciting one.

HELLBLAZER #283
September 21, 2011 4:51 pm I really liked this, debated it being my pick of the week, but at the end of the day I just got more excited about Wonder Woman. Still, really enjoying what Peter Milligan is doing with the comic. :)

WONDER WOMAN #1
September 21, 2011 4:46 pm I loved this, I made it my pick of the week. i was fully expecting it to be Batman or Hellblazer, but this just felt fresh and exciting to me, it really was like reading the beggining of a modernized greek myth. Such a good comic, in fact I'd go so far as to say this was my favourite book of the relaunch so far :) (but here's hoping Justice League Dark tops it.)

ACTION COMICS #1

I think some people can deny his greatness...in fact I think many do. Its kinda one of my problems with Grant Morrison fans (even thugh I am one) when they say that people who cant keep up with his ideas and themes arent "complicated enough" to be able to. I really dont think thats the case, I'm sure people could if they wanted to, just some people dont read comics for mind bending themes. Also, I have noticed this about him, and it is a flaw, he's not always the best at writing his scripts so they follow and read in a logical way, Alan Moore had some way out there, difficult ideas, but he was a lot more detailed when telling the artists what to put on the page, hence doesnt get the same criticism about making no sense.
Again, Grant Morrison is my absolute favourite writer, but I think there can certainly be criticims made of his work :)
