  1. I WAS going to pick this up, but boy did that advance review destroy all my anticipation…

  2. I’m picking this up for one big reason. He’s pictured on the cover.

    BUT…

have never been a big fan of Bendis — dropped all his Avengers titles — and am strongly suspicious I won’t like where he goes with this character.

  3. Dont have high hopes for this, but gonna pick it up just because…I dunno…just will :/ its the avengers and I feel like i need to buy them for some weird reason.

  4. I predict FUN TIMES!

  5. This was great

the “So let’s light him on fire.” panel has to be in panels of the week

  6. Bendis for me is usually good to amazing.

I’m hoping to enjoy this despite the majority of negative comments.

  7. With the exception of the Ellis’ issue of Secret Avengers, this has been my favorite Avengers title. All of the things I enjoy about the title were missing. No humorous banter, no silly meta commentary, and no point to it all. I am very disappointed. The price did not help. $5.00 used to buy you multiple stories. At least one of which you would like.

  8. Yeesh, ok, so my prediction was wrong. When did Wonder Man start driving the Waaah-mbulance? What a whiner.

This was dark and confounding with no point at all. Poor form.

  9. I actually didnt mind this considering the bad review it got, the whole idea for it at the start of the story worked out well but i just thought once the action started it lacked substance

  10. My LCS was out. I need to pick up a copy elsewhere, I guess.

    • do you want mine. because i want to rip it ion half!!!! That is how much i hated this issue!!! How much i hated being robbed by Bendis & Marvel.

  11. The advance review was right. Some great splash page art though. (Though not worth $5).

  12. I have always been a fan of old school giant super group on super group fights, so for that I thought this issue was great, sorta like a 60’s-70’s comic. But must admit it was also like some of the old school comics in that the plot wasn’t very believable, I couldn’t believe Simon could convince that many heroes to attack them or that they would get beat down that easily.

  13. Cmon guys!! This book was awesome!!! All those crappy D list characters kicking the Avengers butt!! Totally action packed!! it had DMan in it for goodness sakes. What more could you ask for in a comic? Better than Animal Man that’s for sure.

  14. That art was a clusterfuck. This was a little disappointing.

  15. The premise was stupid and the art was a mediocre dark mess. The Avengers fighting each other is the problem, so the solution is to fight each other? Really?

  16. You were all warned!

  17. What the fuck was this shit? Jesus. I could have gotten a beejer from some crackhead downtown for that five bucks.
