February 5, 2009 1:39 pm This article really hit close to home.  I've been suffering through some weird anxiety over comics lately, and I realized, through your article and Jim's from last week, that reading comics has become a chore.  I decided that it was time to trim down my pull list, and so far I have been enjoying myself much more.  Although the quality of the books in my current pull list have always been superb, I find that they are, for some reason, more engaging, and I don't encounter lackluster issues as much as before.  The cuts I've made on my pull list have been great, and I found that I look forward to Wednesdays more and more these days.

Can I be the first to mention that Sienna Miller is hoooootttt.

 And I agree with Conor.  No matter how good or bad this movie is, it still won't ruin my memories of GI Joe comics, cartoons, and toys.

January 6, 2009 11:48 am Man... I wasn't planning on picking this up but after reading that Newsarama preview I think I might bite on this.  Abnett and Lanning's Nova is phenomenal so I think this one-shot will be on par with that book.

December 16, 2008 1:32 pm this is a great book, and i agree that the wolverine origins crossover was horrible and a waste of my money. i'm glad this book is back on track on its own.

i think the art on this one will be less noir-y than x-men noir.  di giandomenico was the penciller for the daredevil battlin' jack murdock mini-series, and he definitely had a more cartoon looking style.  then again, who knows

hey guys, just want to say that it was really awesome meeting you guys again (we met last year too) today.  ron, thanks for the sweet ifanboy pin.  as i said, you guys seemed very exhausted when i ran into you during that last hour of the con.

you guys do so much for us and i'm sure everyone here will agree with me when I say that we really appreciate it.

 

p.s. i waited at the DC booth up to the last minute of the con for a sweet nightwing sketch from Freddie Williams, and it was well worth it.

looooooved this issue.  i put it in the bottom of my stack because this book got so frustrating without aja on art.  but my was this amazing. best iron fist moments ever!!! not even kidding!

oh and gotta love that panel with bru and fraction!! definitely made my day!
