Name: Ian Raney

Bio: I grew up on Long Island (aka Longuyland),  learned in Michigan, and settled in San Diego.  I've been collecting comics since Justice League Europe #41, which may have led to me collecting  every Justice League comic from  DeMatteis and Giffen's Justice League #1 to Justice League of America #113 (yeah the one with Fire, Blue Devil, Ice Maiden, Nuklon, Obsidian, and the Yazz).  Currently I'm collecting more DC than Marvel but I don't take sides.  I love me some good indie books (Y, Fear Agent, Scalped), but I'm usually late to the party and end up picking up the first trade.  I'm not one for forums (I don't have time to keep checking back for response!), but glad that i can leave comments here at iFanboy.

Definitely another solid issue.  It wasn’t as exciting as I was hoping though.  I think this was ruined by the…

I'm also loving this book.  There are twists and turns surrounding every character.  I didn't even contemplate the ending of the issue 3.  While I am also a big fan of the ending of Angel (actually I think the last season of Angel was the best season out of all of buffy and angel...Lindsay...Adam Baldwin...Nazis...Puppets...and the Spike Angel dynamic), I'll take more Angel and Buffy where I can get it.  And this is damn good comic/Angel.  I have no doubt in my mind that if the series hadn't ended, fans would be happy with the way the new season would go based on this book.

@connor: I also think you can enjoy this, without ruining the fun and finality of the last episode of Angel.  It really should only take one issue to hook you or not.  So not that much of an investment, but your reasons seem more personal than monetary.  Plus the way it has been going, you really don't know how the characters got from the end of the show to where they are now (at least not yet).

Either way...it feels damn good to be talking about these characters again in any form.  Upcoming Serenity mini should muster the same feelings.

February 20, 2008 3:27 pm Haven't been to the store yet (damn you work!), but amazon lists it as March 12, 2008 release.
February 19, 2008 6:20 pm Unfortunately the May solicitations list #25 as a final issue.   I liked this series, but I felt like it was struggling to get its feet off the ground
February 19, 2008 5:31 pm Has there been a delay between issue 3 and 4?  It just seems like a long time since I read it.  But i'm definitely on board for this series.  Its a group of characters that aren't being used anywhere else (besides bats and GA).
February 19, 2008 4:43 pm Is this a random one-shot or part of the current IF arc?
February 19, 2008 2:04 pm i'm a big Joss Whedon fan, but I haven't really enjoyed this storyline all that much.  But the delay and infrequency that it comes out has kill my love for Runaways.  I saw this on the pull list and thought...wait this book still exists?!
February 19, 2008 2:00 pm So, is this volume 3?

I was pretty indifferent about this book before I picked it up, but i'm a sucker for trying the first issue of fall-out titles.  I'm still indifferent, but I may pick up issue 2.  There was nothing wrong with it, i just don't care too much about these characters (well maybe x-23).

Question though - what happen to Hepzibah?  Wasn't Warpath and her....er...um..."training in the danger room?"

February 15, 2008 3:00 pm That sucks man.  If it makes you feel any better it was mostly a set-up for the final two issues.  A good issue, but nothing too exciting

Allow me to re-introduce myself - Jay-Z

Sorry but everytime I see the article title on the homepage, that line plays in my head.

Anyway, Gordon you do a solid job on the ads in the video podcast.  Glad to see we'll be hearing more from you.
