Name: Matthew Kaczynski

Bio: I've been reading since I was 12, started with Spawn when I traded some X-men cards for a stack of comics.  I would consider myself a Marvel guy, but I love to dip into mature books and am a big fan of the recent push towards pulp crime stories.  Current and long time favorites include Daredevil, Amazing Spiderman, any Brubaker, any Joe Kelly, Punisher, Scalped, Y the Last Man, and Jonah Hex.Professionally, I'm a Marine jet pilot stationed in Whidbey Island, WA.  I'm originally from Michigan and went to school at the University of Michigan.  Go Blue!

October 5, 2010 1:21 am Anybody know how many issues this series is planned for?
September 27, 2010 11:58 pm I've been confused about this story arc-- is this Bruce or Dick?  He's dressed like Bruce, but there was no indication about which Batman we're seeing...
September 18, 2010 2:52 am I think Spencer is stretching the plot out.  Case in point: issue 2 revolves around the headmaster trying to get one of the girls to answers one question the entire issue.  Don't know where they're going with all this, I just know I'm along for the ride.
September 16, 2010 3:35 pm @MegaPhilip: All the ads are in the back.  Story was awesome, art was fair.  It definitely keeps you guessing.
September 16, 2010 12:42 am @xrcst: I bought my copy from mycomicshop.com today for cover price +$1.50 in shipping.  If all else fails, it will pop up on ebay.
September 2, 2010 8:27 pm @Conor:  I think Cameron Stewart took what Quitely had started and kept the book looking consistent.  Then again, his style looks very similiar to Quitely's.
September 2, 2010 3:30 pm @ZEPPO: I concur.  I liked how Quitely made it look like there was someone very different under the cowl.
August 25, 2010 11:38 pm I agree with your point about only so many comics with Dick as Batman.  I feel like Morrison is just getting his footing with Dick and Damian and now Bruce will be back.  I was hoping to have Morrison really stretch his fresh ideas for a longer run, but at least he's staying on for the foreseeable future.
August 25, 2010 11:35 pm I don't know why everyone is so concerned about EVERY issue being a HUGE plot point.  If that happened, there would be no character development or examining motivations behind the action.  Then you would have a mindless book that continuously trys to one up itself issue after issue.  Like many of you, I have had serious issues with Morrison's run-- mostly it being confusing as hell.  But, after having reread most of his RIP stuff, have found that it is best read as one continous train of thought and is an interesting story.  I'm sick of every Batman story being the same, if anything, Morrison is showing us something new.
August 11, 2010 9:37 pm @ironcladmerc:  You're in for a real treat if you've not read the second volume beginning with Smith's run.  It's probably the best 100+ issues in a row that deliver time and time again.  The Bendis and Brubaker runs rival (if not exceed in some cases) the Miller run.  Enjoy!
