The most hyped series right now has a lot to live up to in its infancy.

It’s evident now that the story is much more grandiose than we originally thought and while I’m not quite on the same level of many reviewers and readers who are singing it’s praises, I am most definitely excited at what this series might bring.

Here’s to hoping that Spencer slows down a little bit, stretches things out, mixes it up. We don’t need a huge reveal every single issue. Bring the unexpected and this has potential to be one of the very best comics out.

And I thought I was done with high school aged characters!

  1. I think Spencer is stretching the plot out.  Case in point: issue 2 revolves around the headmaster trying to get one of the girls to answers one question the entire issue.  Don’t know where they’re going with all this, I just know I’m along for the ride.

  2. I loved the fact that this issue revolved around breaking the characters will. I am along for the ride as well.
