Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!  Thinking this title was canceled for the past three months, I'd written Bad Dog off as another indie comic  dud.  How wrong I was.  This issue expands on the first two by focusing on Lou (the werewolf) going on a hunt for "illegals" with his local bar owner named Deschain.  It's unclear why, but Lou has a debt to be paid to Deschain and feels a sense of obligation to help him out over his partner Wendell.  In true Bad Dog style, the illegals turn out not to be Mexican border crossers, but vampires.  This story is both one of character development and action; seemlessly melding the two together.  On top of it all there are great side shots of Wendell bitching and moaning that had me rolling.  Greco's art adds great dimmension to the book and makes following the story effortless.  His characters are full of personality, a perfect visual for the stories tone.  Joe Kelly promised all kinds of lewd jokes and profanity mixed in with bourbon, choppers, and bad ass characters; and I'm proud to say he did not disappoint.
