So I too am pretty new to LOSH.  I've read a arc in Teen Titans with them but other than that... nadda.

I think I'll pick up AC arc.  I'm guessing its only in issues... not in a trade yet?

 @WadeWilson I really doubt it.  I'm pretty sure Kirkman wouldn't want to go down that road with this comic.  I know it has zombies in it but it has been keeping to a pretty real feel.  No aliens (Yet) or angels or demons.  I guess its possible but I hope not.  This book has been great and I'm not sure how I would feel if spirits started to walk around in it.  It sounds weird to say that a zombie book is realistic but I think this book is.

@Deadspace Yeah I thought that at first too but I don't think the fact that he was imagining the voice was as big of a deal as the fact of who was on the other side in his mind.  That and the fact that he is the one who figures it out yet he doesn't care all that much... he takes the phone... that's kind of deep.

August 15, 2008 10:36 am @WadeWilson.  The thing about comics is that you don't have to cast someone to play the characters.  You can draw them as who they are.  Reeves was cast to play superman because he was a close match to the way he looked in the comics.  Now comics are made and they make superman look like Reeves.  So we are looking at a copy of a copy of Superman.  I don't like that.

August 14, 2008 1:35 pm I'm not worried about G-Mo doing something that changes the past of any of the characters all that much.  It's clear that this Dr. Hurt is just crazy and wants to be a part of Batmans past.  I hope that the last part of the run focuses more on Batman and Joker.  I like the idea of these two crazy people interacting.  Crazy Batman Vs. The Joker = freaking sweet.
