October 31, 2008 2:00 pm This is awesome. What a great cliff hanger at the end. I just want to know more. I wish we could have seen more of his transformation in this issue. I really enjoy the suspense and all of the built in devices. I am new to Ellis's work, but from the Aetheric Mechanics, I hope all of his foreshadowing (which is substantial) will turn around and be big surprises in the end! Great work guys. And I LOVE the way Ryp draws impacts, liquidy and roiling. Its such a visual clue to the emotional intensity of a physical act.
October 21, 2008 9:58 pm would this be a good jumping on point? I havent read any of the trades and I have heard alot of good stuff. Any advice?
October 5, 2008 3:08 pm  I loved this. I read the 0 issue and have been waiting for this thing to come out and it finally did and it was great. To me the artwork feels like it is capturing NYC three or four years ago, with the hummer limo and clothes and stuff. Whats with Ryp's drawing of impacts. I feel like he sees the energy of things crashing together more like a liquid than a light. Its really an interesting style, kind of challenges my ideas about energy and how it looks.

Knovict definitely got a lot more interesting, I am getting foreshadowing of altrusim, or some other turn of team for him. And he is definitely a bad ass. Though Kraak is annoying. Also, where were hawkman and gangbuster...somebody ran out of tiiiime.

In summary, really lame climax to the unification of Trin. Konvict story is warming.

September 4, 2008 10:00 pm Great first issue. Eccentric characters, small back stories, big trouble to come...it all sounds good. Great job Simone!

Not as good as last week's issue, but important development. Perhaps it is because I am new to comic books in general and definitely a new reader to these long arc stories, but I fail to see how a book like this can be judged by so many in such a short period of time. With a plot this large, it seems of necessity that some issues have to be plot set ups, which are less exciting, to allow for the smaller climaxes along the way.

I see this week's issue as one that is more about setting plot.

I picked this up because of the advertising in the comic shop news.

Does anyone else notice that the rating for this book is currently a 7.5? Something must be screwy with the number system, or some other readers are superdelegates.

Once again, Superman goes crazy! This book is definitely the one that I look forward to every week. What did I miss with the Riddler?

@CharlieBlix, you seem to have figured something out. What is it?

August 21, 2008 9:20 am Yes but Superman's going crazy!!!
