June 22, 2011 2:01 pm Jim Lee has said the ASBRBW delays was all him. The 2+ years spent knee-deep in DCU Online was cited as his justification. He's never owned up to screwing WildC.A.T.S. v.4 though.

The Superman: For Tomorrow run in Superman was his last series that shipped on time.
June 20, 2011 4:15 pm Bettie Page TPB reprint and Suicide Girls. Great week.
June 16, 2011 10:07 am Too bad DC doubled the price of Showcase v. 1 as it was a steal at $9.99. They've made up for it a bit, however, by releasing V.5, which has the Adams run in glorious black and white.
June 14, 2011 12:30 pm The Official Newspaper of Record mis-spelled Spider-man. It left out the all-important hyphen. And the copy desk wont take my call.
June 9, 2011 2:21 pm Aaaand the last of the legitimately-numbered books by the Big Two ends.
June 8, 2011 4:32 pm Ah, WildStorm. Where your (usually derivative) powers came from the Comet Effect, Gen Factor (*cough* X-gene *cough*), super science, or being an alien or alien-human hybrid. And Warren Ellis took all that and ran with it. Jack "The Spirit of Cities" Hawksmoor indeed.

Dang, I miss WildStorm.
June 6, 2011 12:14 pm I thought Tom's opiate of choice was Lortab/Vicodin?

I agree with every word. Jim, I've said it before and will probably say it again: You're my alter-ego. Except funnier and more successful.
June 1, 2011 10:12 am "This is a $3.99 comic."

Well, actually it was $5.95 when it came out in 2003. The original printing is impossible to find for less than $9.99. And it's beautiful AND funny as hell AND has an Ellis script - which is always a treat to read.

In Stock Trades or Amazon it, save 35%, and get it. It's Grrrrrrreat!
June 1, 2011 10:05 am Grab the Citizen Rex HC from Dark Horse. Mario and Gilbert Hernandez. Great stuff.
