while i liked the trailer a lot and it makes thor seem like a really nice film, i don't like it as a comic adaptation.
i know the whole sci-fi stuff is more kirbyesque, but i had hoped for a design that resembles coipel's recent work more. the huge fortress-city with those norse looking fellas, not some shiny klingon wannabes.
this is great. so far i've used comixology to catch up/read up on invincible and walking dead on my iphone and jeez, were you guys right about invincible.
now i can finally tackle rebirth and sinestro corp, been waiting for this for a while.
but it's gonna be a real biggie if DC will actually put the most recent issues on their app. awesome.
totally thought of the aliens loader. reason for that is easy - i basically don't remember any details about avatar by now, but know a lot of stuff about aliens. avatar was forgettable and most people don't intend to watch it more than once. aliens on the other hand...sci fi gold.
nevertheless, this is about the panels. i like the red robin one best. just a great depiction of the bat family around town. :)
needs a helmet. and i'd have gone with coipiel's design. they used it for the chest, why not go with armor for the legs, too. i also think the boots look to high techy. just take a closer look at the soles of the boots.
i know, that marvel's asgard is actually a science fiction version or at least used to be. but the current thor and asgard pre-siege was as viking as it could get, with the gods looking as dark age vikingy as they should.
