nice article. :)
also, that NA group shot in the park is amazing. who did it? is it a random picture from marvel or was it part of the NA finale?
count me in on the crowd that's surprised by the violence. i mean, i didn't expect this in a marvel hawkeye book. first the two desert eagles in mockingbird's hands, then the hail of arrows that are obviously lethal? i mean, i'm alright with them going a more serious route, but it's certainly not what you expect in a regular marvel book (means no icon or MK or MAX imprint).
i'm gonna pick this up though, because i loved the mccann interviews and the art on this.
i kept tryippin' over the plotholes while watching it -seriously, why did rourke not even have as much as a limp after happy hit him again and again with the car?
why did noone shoot him after he blew up the first few cars?
the whole senate hearing scene was just over top stupid and infantile, not the witty remarks of stark in IM 1.
to top things off: toilet humor? really? iron man pees in his suit? aw, c'mon!
wow, from all you guys have been saying about this book on the podcast i was expecting to see some good old fashioned western with a disfigured clint eastwood rockin' the six shooters.
what i just witnessed in that trailer is a bad movie about to happen. it looked like shitty ghost rider and wild wild west combined into one not so fun dumb action movie. i'll pass on this one.
holy crap. i won't see a GR2 one way or another, the first one was a steaming pile of shitty shit. although i did like cowboy ghost rider (sam eliott, i think).
but assuming that iron man was about the suit and not all those hilarious moments with RDjr being a brilliant stark is just plain crazy. seriously, if you were to put nic cage in the IM suit, there's little chance i'd watch that in a theatre.
