September 4, 2012 8:02 pm This book started out great but has been on a slow but steady decline for me. I hope that rotworld delivers on the goods, since it's been building for a year now and I'll be pretty disappointed if it...disappoints.
August 25, 2012 12:02 pm I was really digging this until it ended abruptly. I feel that pacing has been an issue lately with the whole BPRD line and it's definitely affecting the quality.
August 2, 2012 8:51 am These were both fairly weak issues. I'm hoping it's just because a lot of setup was required to get people familiar that haven't been reading one or both. I got really sick of looking at AM and ST on the bone ladder, and realized I'm kind of getting tired of this whole Green/Rot/Red business. Hope things pick up as Rotworld gets going.
July 25, 2012 11:13 pm The first three issues of this were, in my opinion, the strongest and most definitely worth checking out. Most cohesive plot and all around scifi weirdness. I'm still on board, but the dive into obscurity it's taken lately has lowered it in my esteem slightly.
July 18, 2012 3:33 pm Kind of disappointed with this mini. Shifting to what felt like a pointless side story killed the momentum we had coming out of The Long Death. This series is growing more and more spotty lately, and the issues are starting to feel really short.
July 12, 2012 11:42 am I need to stop pretending like I know where this book is going. This issue established what could be a long term villain and set up a new major conflict. Really didn't expect it to go this way.
June 25, 2012 3:16 pm I usually don't get too excited about the BPRD mini and one-shots that are separate from the main plot/characters, but I'm pumped to see Cameron Stewart in this world.
April 25, 2012 8:07 pm After reading both issues it wasn't clear at all what this was about. The art was a bit hard to follow throughout as well. Unfortunately, this adds to a long list of BPRD "side plots" that really don't feel necessary or worth reading in addition to the main story.
April 18, 2012 8:25 pm As great as this was, I think you're right about trade-waiting. I've been reading BPRD in issues for years, but lately the issues have been feeling shorter somehow. But I guess that's probably because of the wonderfully drawn action sequences, so I can't complain.
March 24, 2012 8:35 am James Harren offers some incredibly dynamic art in this issue. I haven't been this excited about BPRD in years!
