  1. I usually don’t get too excited about the BPRD mini and one-shots that are separate from the main plot/characters, but I’m pumped to see Cameron Stewart in this world.

  2. Huge fan of this book, but this one doesn’t have me too excited. I like Cameron Stewart, but the story and character don’t have me too psyched. I imagine I’ll be singing a different tune come Wednesday though 🙂

  3. I think BPRD is really cool, but there has just been way too much of it this year. They need to tone it down or I’m going to lost interest fast.

    • Hahaha! that’s funny. I know what you mean about it being more abundant this year, but I’m the opposite, I can’t get enough.

I’m not familiar with Cameron Stewart, but Mignola and Allie have a pretty sweet track record of getting amazing artists on these books.

    • I can’t get enough BPRD either.

  4. I think I’m gonna hold out on this one. There’s just been too much BPRD and my wallet can’t handle the strain. Plus, I kind of felt burned by The Pickens County Horror so I’m sticking to the Mignola/Arcudi books.

  5. Good to see Ota Benga again after 1947. I thought this was a great book! I for one can’t get enough BPRD, and I’m glad they’re putting out so many books this year. Years past the pickings have been pretty slim.

I liked it. It’s nice to see a female protagonist get a chance at her own story in a comic without having to wear a leotard and angling her ass in my face.

  7. This was amazing. Great layered story and Cameron Stewart, wow! Cameron + Dave = 2 Stewarts I’d love to see more in the Mignolaverse together.
