November 4, 2010 9:10 am I can sympathize. I mean, imagine being on the news for saving the planet from the devourer of worlds, only for everyone to comment on how scruffy and unkempt your facial hair is.

@Heroville That's true, but if it's a matter of who we would enjoy seeing, that's my pick. Plus, this doesn't seem to yet have a solid window, and HIMYM only has a couple of years left at best.

October 1, 2010 8:04 pm I still think Cobie Smulders from How I Met Your Mother would be a solid choice, as you'd definitely want someone who isn't over-exposed for the part. She's definitely got the ability to play a confidant female role. Plus, Joss Whedon himself considered her in the past, so why not?
September 23, 2010 2:51 pm I've been looking forward to this collection all year. It's the next GN I'm getting, that's for sure.
August 27, 2010 12:34 am As it would happen, every book on here (except Blankets, which I've never read), i've been able to get my girlfriend hooked on. So, yeah, great list!
August 26, 2010 3:06 pm I saw that cover and the first thought that came to my head was "I'm glad to see Scott Pilgrim made it big."
August 11, 2010 12:04 pm When the page loaded and I saw Flash, I was undecided. Then I scrolled down and saw Gorilla Grood and fell in love.
August 9, 2010 5:37 am Just finished reading it, and was moved by the story throughout. This is the kind of book that proves just how important and useful the comic medium is, and is now the first book I'll recommend to anyone who puts comics down.
August 4, 2010 4:13 pm I'd hate to think a cycle like this would repeat, but I was in my LCS just last week and someone was trying to sell their comics,  for some huge profit. *sigh*
July 29, 2010 6:30 am This was my pick as well, and if it were solely art, yeah, Flash may very well have been my pick every week it's been out. It's helped bring me to loving a character so many before me have admired. I'll be following Manapul to any book he does now.
