Overall, I’m still not quite sure what to make of Deathstroke. Higgins is certainly nailing the badass side of the character, but we’ve yet to have much insight into the tactical prowess that allows him to get away with so much. Slade Wilson reads best when the action is drawn out and each careful, calculated move is highlighted. That said, the action flows wonderfully, and the promise still remains for Higgins to delve a little more into the mind of Deathstroke. As it is, though, the character is just missing that essential look at the cerebral side of things.
